Home buyers are always asking us about other neighborhoods near Pearland. When they do, we point them south along the 288 Corridor starting at Pomona. There are many great builders in Pomona with up-to-date styles! But builders are nearing completion in this neighborhood, which takes us farther south off of 288 for a new home.
Resales have become quite popular as builders are completing construction and development down 288. You can usually find better pricing in resales, but many buyers don’t even look at resales, opting for a brand new home . . . that is until they’re all gone. Then it is time to look at resales with a knowledgeable real estate agent.
Past Pomona takes you to Manvel, a wonderful community with new builders still active. Right off of Highway 6 you’ll find fabulous homes in Valencia and pretty resale homes in Blue Water Lakes, adjacent to Valencia.
I could write a very long article about all these neighborhoods, but your best bet is to hire a skilled agent who can help you find a new or a resale home along the popular 288 Corridor. But I’ll stop by mentioning Meridiana, the largest community along 288.
